Photography Class Week 4

Photography Composition

Today's class was very interesting. I have to master the art of looking at the world in 35 mm in exposure and composition.

We learned about content of photography.

1. What is your photography about?
2. How much of your scene do you want to show?
3. Should your image be horizontal or vertical?
4. How many elements are you including?

Lee Friedlander once said "the camera is not merely a reflecting pool.  The mind finger presses the release on the silly machine and it stops time and holds what its jaws can encompass and what light will stain that moment when the landscape speaks to the observer."
